INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY
for the Critical Study of Divination
About the ISCSD
The International Society for the Critical Study of Divination e.V. (ISCSD) was founded in 2016 to provide, beyond funding periods, and self-governed by the scholars in the field, a durable home for the research on fate, freedom, and prognostication which has been initiated at the International Consortium for Research in the Humanities.
The society is the first scholarly association to specifically devote itself to the critical study of divination in all its forms and techniques. The immediate focus of the society is the publication of the International Journal of Divination and Prognostication, as well as the book series Prognostication in History. It is mainly supported by membership fees. We are happy to receive donations that enable us in carrying out even more intensive research. Everyone is welcomed to become a member of the society.
