Petra G. Schmidl from FAU, together with a group of researchers from Belgium, Italy and the US, recently received a highly prestigious Synergy Grant from the European Research Council (ERC):
MOSAIC: Mapping Occult Sciences across Islamicate Cultures is dedicated to the study of historical sources on occult sciences in Islamicate cultures.
The MOSAIC team Erlangen around ISCSD member and MOSAIC Principal Investigator Petra G. Schmidl invites interested researchers to join the MOSAIC introductory meeting:

The meeting will feature a presentation by Godefroid de Callataÿ (UCLouvain), corresponding PI of MOSAIC, who will outline the project’s general framework and introduce the digital tools to be developed. Petra G. Schmidl will present the Erlangen component of the project.
